LOCAL FILM MAKER'S MOVIE AT GMFF
Lukas Huffman, born and raised in Montpelier, will screen his feature film during the opening weekend at the Green Mountain Film Festival. The independent movie, titled "When the Ocean Met the Sky," is a dramatic-comedy that tells the story of three estranged brothers who must hike to a remote location in order to receive their inheritance. It is beautifully shot in the temperate rainforest of British Columbia. The film has won the Audience Award at the Asheville Cinema Festival and Best Canadian Film and Discovery Award at the Calgary International Film Festival. The screening is at the Pavilion Auditorium at 6:00pm on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Lukas will be in attendance for Q and A.
