On April 1, the first day of National Poetry Month, we are delighted to welcome acclaimed poet Ellen Bryant Voigt. April also marks the return of PoemCampus to the NU community. Voigt will read at 4:00 in the Milano Ballroom. At 3:00 in Webb xxx, Voigt will also have an extended Q&A open to the public.

Voigt, originally hailing from Virginia but now long settled in Vermont, was a finalist for the National Book Award and the National Book Critic’s Circle Award. She also received a Guggenheim grant and was Vermont Poet Laureate from 1999-2003. Her latest collection of poetry, Headwaters: Poems was published in 2013.
