Who should come?
All parents & high school students (9-11th grades) interested in a scholarship opportunities for 2016
Teachers, "speech coaches" & community leaders to witness leadership development through the American Legion

This program was initiated in 1938 to develop a deeper knowledge and understanding among high school students of the Constitution of the United States of America. The participants also obtain the ability to think, speak intelligently and prepare, through understanding, for the responsibilities, rights and privileges of American Citizenship.

The speech is given without notes, microphone or podium and must address some aspect of the Constitution of the United States with emphasis on the duties and obligations of a citizen to our government.
