March to Spring

Past event
Mar 16, 2015, 6:30 PM

The Friends of the Castleton Free Library invite you to an informative Powerpoint presentation about the signs of spring on Monday, March 16th at 6:30pm in the library.

Retired teacher & park naturalist Susan Day will entertain us with enlightening anecdotes about the interdependent sequence of spring events. Action demonstrations will be woven into the presentation. After a question and answer period, a hands-on exhibit of natural history artifacts will round out the program.

Suitable for all ages, participants will learn the names of plants they’ve always seen and understand what makes the mysterious night noises we hear in spring.

Light refreshments & social time will follow.

For more information about this free program, please call the Castleton Free Library, 468-5574.
