The GFWC Castleton Woman's Club will resume its regular 2015 meeting schedule on March 11, 2015, at 12:00 Noon at the Castleton State College Medical Chapel. A business meeting at 12:30 P.M. will follow the light lunch, and the program will begin at 1:00 P.M. David Lundy from Hilltop Slate in Granville, N.Y., will discuss the traditional Welsh craft of creating slate fans used historically and today as decorative pieces above fireplace mantels and windowsills. He will provide a display of such fans and describe the painstaking and meticulous process of their creation.
