Vermont Virtuosi, Vermont’s dynamic chamber music series, begins its 2015 season with “Resolutions,” a program of music by Max Reger, Arthur Foote, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Vermont composers Thomas L. Read and David Gunn. Flutist and artistic director Laurel Ann Maurer, clarinetist Karen Luttik, cellist John Dunlop, violist Elizabeth Reid, and violinists Letitia Quante and Jane Kittridge will perform Foote’s “A Night Piece,” Reger’s “Serenade in G Major,” Mozart’s inspired clarinet quintet, Read’s “Christmas Variations,” and Gunn’s “Giant Pecking Sparrows” as well as the premiere of “Lucille,” for string quartet. The concerts will take place on Friday, March 6, 7:30 p.m., at the First Baptist Church, 81 Saint Paul Street in Burlington, and Saturday, March 7, 7:30 p.m., at the Unitarian Church, 130 Main Street in Montpelier.
