This is being written to invite you to a very important meeting regarding the future of Mt. Ascutney.
On Saturday March 7th there will be a meeting for the Mt. Ascutney community to discuss the future of the mountain. The meeting will start at 4pm located at the Holiday Inn Harvest room. The meeting will focus on the future use of Mt. Ascutney following the transfer of the land ownership to the Town of West Windsor. We will have as featured speakers Kate Wanner of the Trust for Public Land and John Roe from Upper Valley Land Trust. They will speak to the opportunities for the mountain, discuss the restrictions and will have a question/answer opportunity for any questions the Ascutney community may have.
This will be a preliminary meeting to discuss how the Mt. Ascutney community can help impact the next steps for the mountain - possible actions, possible activity's that will help to improve the current and long term situation within the outlined restrictions.
This is a vey important meeting. Please do whatever possible to attend. This is a meeting to discuss the future of our beloved mountain and we can consider this as a "clean slate" to build a new recreational platform for this great mountain..
