The Pop-Up plays are popping up fresh with a batch of 6 brand new ten-minute plays. Written 24 hours before they premiere, the Pop-Up Plays could be about anything. We asked 6 playwrights to come in March 6th at 7:30. They get three actors and some ingredients and then write a 10 minute play by 7am the next day. The actors and directors come in March 7th at 8am, rehearse all day, and perform the plays that night at 7:30 March 7th. Last year's shows had psychics, puppets, a sperm bank, love triangles, guns, cross-dressing and a lady boxer. Who knows what this year's shows will bring? 34 Vermont theater artists will converge to create something unexpected, daring and a lot of fun.
