Archaeologist Andrew Beaupre presents his research on the 17th and 18th century cultural landscape of the Lake Champlain/Richelieu River corridor. This region served as a borderland where multiple nations and ethnicities engaged in contact and conflict. These exchanges created a hyper-nationalistic zone of cultural interaction the effects of which can be felt today. Come and explore historic border interactions, and the role archaeology plays in heritage creation in the Champlain Valley.
