If you didn't make it to the Montpelier Elks Club on Saturday @ noon, you missed a great family event in the box race. Weather cooperated, food was good and the company was so much fun for young and old alike. It was wonderful to watch plain old down home family fun. Thanks to all involved.

Many events are open to the public that are held at the Elks in Montpelier, they have been serving a buffet breakfast on the last Sunday of the month for $10.00. This too has been a great value, food is wonderful, great people and no clean up. That's hard to beat.

Another event coming in March and April is an inside sale, and again open to all, sell and buy. So mark your calendars and as you are Spring cleaning throw unwanted or not needed items in a box, bring to the Elks early, rent a table, and put a little money back in your pocket and have a fun time doing it.
