It's almost here….Town Meeting – the place where one gets to eat a collection of delicious food – because of the generosity of all the amazing cooks in town
If you attend the Town Meeting Potluck Lunch on Tuesday March 3rd at East Montpelier Elementary School, here’s how it works:
1. Bring an entrée to share -- salad, main dish, bread, or dessert. Make sure you have enough food for four times as many people in your group.
2. Drop your dish off at the cafeteria in the morning and collect a ticket which guarantees your seat at the table!
3. Label your dish, Vegetarian or Non-Vegetarian.
4. Note if your entree is gluten-free.
5. Clearly state if it contains nuts.
For those of you who can’t bring an entrée, $5.00 will buy you the best lunch you’ll eat all year!
A reminder -- the food is always so fabulous, it's tempting to fill your plate to overflow so you can sample everything. We haven't run out of food yet, but please be mindful of the line behind you when filling your plate! You can always return for seconds!
On a final note, before you head home, please remember to take your serving dish home with you. We will leave “forgotten” dishes in the kitchen and you can check with the school’s kitchen staff on its status. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsibile for dishes left behind.
