LCBP Program Features Lake Champlain Lighthouses

45th Parallel Lights: Isle La Motte, Windmill Point & Other Lake Champlain Lighthouses by Rob Clark

Rob Clark, lighthouse enthusiast and resident of Champlain, NY will speak on Thursday, March 5th at the Lake Champlain Basin Program's Love the Lake presentation series.  Clark will discuss Lake Champlain Lighthouses, adding special emphasis on the details and history of the Windmill Point and Isle La Motte lighthouses.

Limited copies of the Lake Champlain Lighthouses guide, authored by George Clifford and illustrated by Sid Couchey, will be available for sale with proceeds directed to the Clinton County Historical Association. Clifford and Couchey were avid supporters of the Lake Champlain’s historic lighthouses.

This FREE public program begins Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the LCBP Office/Vermont Fish and Wildlife Building, 54 West Shore Road, Grand Isle, located just north of the Grand Isle LCT ferry entrance.  Homemade desserts will be served.  For further information, contact the Lake Champlain Basin Program at the LCBP at (802) 372-3213.
