Parenting Class begins March 18, Rumney parents welcome (grades 4,5,6)

“Guiding Good Choices” is a 5-session Parenting workshop series to be held Wednesdays, March 18 - April 15, 6:00-8:00 pm, at Main Street Middle School in Montpelier. It is offered free by Central Vermont New Directions Coalition and aids parents and caregivers of children in grades four through eight in Washington County- before kids enter middle school and high school.

The course will cover: Setting clear guidelines and consequences; Controlling anger; Understanding the teenage brain; Promoting family bonds; and Preparing kids with “refusal” skills for peer influence.
