The Greater Burlington Y has partnered up with local educators to bring a fun, educational camp to your children during April Vacation!
8:00am-12:00pm- Learn how to Become a Scientist with Larry the Science Guy! Larry is a science enthusiast! He loves working with children and teaching them hands-on science activities. During this camp children will learn what it takes to become a knowledgeable scientist, test experiments, and take home some of their makings!
12:00-12:30pm- Lunch
12:30-4:30pm- Join Future Einsteins for an exciting week of computer adventures, crafting, and gaming! During the class children will become Computer Detective on a learning adventure to imaginative places.
Each child will have their own laptop computer where they work on custom software designed specifically for each mission. Advancing at their own pace, children will proudly apply new technology skills to solve problems and accomplish their goal. Once the mission is completed, your child will make a craft to go along with the lesson. Other activities throughout the afternoon include gym games and snack.
