Come share memories of old Greensboro

Calling everyone with connections to Greensboro in the 20th century. Come for an enjoyable afternoon walking down memory lane with Greensboro librarian Mary Lee Metcalf as she shows selected pictures from the extraordinary Henry Merrill collection of historic photos. On Sunday, March 1 at 2 PM in Fellowship Hall of the Greensboro United Church she will show some of the collection that her father Henry Merrill started as part of Greensboro’s celebration of our national Bicentennial. A relaxed presentation format will encourage sharing of recollections prompted by the photos and help identifying some of people found there. You are also invited to bring old photos to share. The program, sponsored by the Greensboro Historical Society, will be followed by refreshments.
