Ever wanted to make your own cultured dairy products? Making yogurt, butter, buttermilk, and kefir at home is simpler than you may think and it does not take much time or special equipment. Cynthia Larson and Leslie Silver will be demonstrating making these products at the Larson Farm in Wells on Saturday, Feb. 28th,11:00-1:00. There will be three different yogurts to try and cultures available for purchase. There will also be kefir grains to take home and butter and cultured buttermilk to taste. (Bring a small glass jar if you would like kefir grains.) There will be extra milk to buy as well. You will be inspired make some at home! Optional potluck at 1:00.
