VITA is an IRS-sponsored program using trained volunteers to provide free tax help.

If you make about $53,000 or less you may qualify. Call Lincoln if you have questions about being eligible.

The new Capstone (what used to be Central Vermont Community Action) at 20 Gable Pl. in Barre also hosts this free tax assistance Mon-Wed evenings 4:30 to 8pm, Thurs. from 8-2, and Sat. from 10-3.
