Join BEEC naturalist Patti Smith for a snowshoe into the cold and dark. We will hike into a remote area, a mix of wetlands and forest, and look and listen for the winter-active animals that share the night. Once we reach our destination, the heart of the wilderness, we will enjoy the human comforts of fire and hot beverages. If the skies cooperate, we will have the light of a half moon and the spectacle of winter stars.
