For our fourth OLLI talk of this semester, we are pleased to welcome Ellie Blachly on "What Lies Beneath the Surface? Uncovering the story of two chairs from Holyroodhouse." Ellie will talk about 18th century furniture restoration and conservation and why she finds this furniture so fascinating. She will have tools and materials on hand for touching, including reproduction 18th century textiles from the Marshfield School of Weaving. She will conclude with a case study involving 2 chairs and Queen Mary.

Cost: Free to OLLI members, others $5 suggested donation
Doors open at 12:30 for those wishing to bring a bag lunch.
