SOME COMMENTS ON RACE IN VERMONT with discussion following.

Vermont Poet David Budbill's presentation is inspired by Martin Luther King and recent racially charged events. Following the presentation David will lead a discussion.

David Budbill is the author of seven poetry books, eight plays, a novel, and a collection of short stories. He is a keen observer of the human condition, and the environment that affects us all. He was a commentator on National Public Radio’s All Things Considered; his poems have been offered on Garrison Keillor's NPR show The Writer’s Almanac.(www.davidbudbill.com). The late poet Hayden Carruth said Budbill's poems "are restorative solace in this painful world."
