Come in from the cold and enjoy a fun & casual night out at the 3rd Annual Burke Wine & Art Snowcase on Saturday February 21st at Lyndon State College. Mix, Mingle & sample fine wines and chocolate while meeting local artists and viewing their work. A diverse variety of photography, sculptures and paintings will be on exhibit including work from Kreg Owens, Robert C. Jenks, Sharon Reihmer, Janice Walrafen, Joan Harlowe, Carolyn Guest, Marjorie Weber, Jack Stewart, Chuck Guest and Meryl Lebowitz. New this year, students from the Lyndon Institute National Art Honor Society will be there to display and talk about their work. 30 varieties of wine from across the globe will be available for tasting and Burke Mountain Confectionery will be offering samples of their decadent chocolate truffles.
“We’re excited to welcome folks to this event for the third year and showcase the talents of established and budding local artists,” said Chamber President, Tim Tierney. “It’s a great chance for folks to get out, have some wine, view some unique art creations and get to meet the artists in person.”
The event is Saturday February 21st from 6 – 9 pm in the Moore Community Room (ASAC 100) at Lyndon State College. Tickets are $35 per person/$60 per couple in advance or $40 per person/$70 per couple at the door. Ticket price includes wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres, chocolate tasting, live music and art showcase.
