You are cordially invited to this benefit concert at Richmond Free Library (201 Bridge Street, Richmond) Friday, February 20, 2015, at 7 pm.

The event features acclaimed Vermont-based violinist Michael Dabroski who will perform “Suite BWV 1011” by J. S. Bach, an original “Suite for Ramallah,” Palestinian melodies, and remarks about trips to Ramallah in December 2013 and March 2015. This is one in a series of planned concerts called "The Palestinian Violin - A Journey to Elevate the Human Spirit" and is
being sponsored by Vermonters for a Just Peace in Palestine/Israel, Tree of Life Educational Fund, and Al Kamandjati ("The Violinists"). Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Al Kamandjati, supporting musical education for young Palestinians. The initial series of concerts will facilitate the purchase of a violin being made by a Palestinian musician; this violin will be played in a subsequent series of concerts. $20 suggested donation; $10 seniors/students.
