Farmers' Night

Hosted by the Vermont Historical Society, enjoy an evening of early music by acclaimed ensemble Seven Times Salt.

English consorts, songs of liberty and taxation, and George Washington's favorite dance tunes. Music of Dowland, Ravenscroft, Arne, Billings and others. The Farmers Night series began in 1923, long before the Interstate was built, when many legislators lived in Montpelier during the session and organized mid-week entertainment.
