Join us at the Bixby Memorial Library for our fourth film in our FREE film series. We meet on the first friday of each month where local screenwriter Jay Dubberly will introduce the film (and handout free popcorn) and then, afterwards, there will be a brief discussion.

On March 6th we'll be watching Sylvain Chomet's Oscar-nominated L'illusioniste (the Illusionist). An animated homage to the works of legendary filmmaker Jacques Tati. Chomet's film is the story of an aging magician in 1950s England, who meets a young Scottish girl who believes his parlor tricks are real. It's a heartbreaking and heartwarming film, with lush handdrawn landscapes, and plenty of laughs.
