Heroes of WinterBreak: a Dungeons & Dragons Day Camp
at the River Rock School (Montpelier)
February 23-27th, 9am-4pm, with Dungeon Masters Ben t. Matchstick and Ellis Jacobson

DESCRIPTION
This five-day camp will feature the newest edition of Dungeons & Dragons, and participants will be invited to create their own characters to form an adventuring party to take on dangerous foes collaboratively. They will use teamwork, problem solving, puzzle decryption, map making, and number crunching as determined by the outcome of polyhedral dice. Heroes will also take breaks from the collective storytelling adventure to engage in role-play outside on the playground or at our nearby park. We will have live-action treasure hunts, lessons in medieval cooking, and special guests such as real life bards, druids, monks, fighters, and rangers! We will work on building storytelling skills that will help the heroes create their own adventures, as well as play the part of the Dungeon Master. Cardboard Teck workshops will encourage our heroes to construct miniature 3D dungeon maps, fantasy weapons, and wearable armor. You do NOT have to know how to play D&D to attend. Get ready for a legendary winter break!
