This Thursday, February 19, my jazz fusion band Eight 02 will be performing at the North End Studio, 294 North Winooski Avenue in Burlington. The band is collaborating with the Burlington Yaroslavl Sister City Program, traveling to the Russian sister city of Yaroslavl in March to perform at the Jazz Over The Volga Festival. This concert is part of the fundraising drive to cover travel expenses for the band.

The show will include a silent auction of various merchandise donated by area restaurants, retailers, ski resorts, etc., all proceeds from which will also go to the travel budget for the trip. Showtime is 8:30-10:30 PM, and there is a $10 door charge. We hope you will join us for an evening of great jazz, some terrific deals from the silent auction, and help support this part of the Sister City Program's ongoing cultural exchange between Vermont and Russia.
