Argentinian Treat! Empanadas and Mate Night! in Mad River Valley!

Join Kevin Ritchie and Constancia Gómez, a native Argentinian living in the Mad River Valley, to enjoy a cultural evening of Argentina.

Treat yourself the way the natives do, and learn to make empanadas (turnovers) stuffed with various delicious ingredients( Corn, Spinach, Muzarella, Meat, chicken). Constancia will have everyone building your own empanadas with different combinations of fillings of meat, cheese, corn, spinach, jams, sweet potato and more. Fried or baked, they make a great food for serving to company or as the family dinner.

Never had Mate? Only had an Americanized version? Constancia will introduce all to the pleasures of this versatile tea as a hot, cold, or enhanced beverage. It is an absolute must in Argentina and many drink Mate before thinking about a coffee. All food and materials included in fee. Bring and apron and a container to bring goodies home.
