Hello, everyone,

My name is Caitlin and I am a graduate student at Burlington College. I'm looking for actors for a web series I co-created with other students. With the guidance of the Film Chair, we're looking to make our vision a reality.

Anyone interested can send me their contact information, a photo, and the role they'd like to audition for (character descriptions below). The auditions will be from 12 to 4:30 on Sunday.

Main Roles

Anna Foley, female, 23-27. Though she looks small and naïve, she is very well read and strong willed. Has just gotten her dream job teaching English and Mythology at one of the top private schools in the country.

Jared Nelson, male, 28-32. The friendly but socially awkward Science teacher. He is often seen wearing a lab coat and is eager to share his love of science with young minds. Anna’s love interest.

Thomas, male, 16-18. One of the many wealthy students at the school. Clean-cut. Rebellious. He has a traumatic experience before Anna’s arrival that brings out his dark side.

William, male, 16-18. Thomas’s loyal best friend and roommate. Also clean cut. He is moody and longs for his other best friend, Jacqueline.

Jacqueline, female, 16-18. Intelligent but vain young woman. Attractive. She really cares about her friends’ well being and is always thinking about them. She, William, and Thomas are known as “the Tripod.”

Supporting Roles

Raj, male, 35-39. He pulls double duty as the school therapist and Guidance Counselor. He strives to be a welcoming confidant for all of his students, no matter how troubled they are.

Dean Locke, female, 38-42. Steely. All business. By the books. Power suits were made for her.

Headmaster Black, male, 50- 55. The mysterious figurehead of the school. He seems to blend in to his surroundings until he wants to make himself known.

Lads, male, 38-42. A large, Russian ex-military man turned P.E. teacher. He’s the muscle when it comes to handling any problems with the students.

Cheryl, female, 36-40. The mousy Math teacher. She wants to become friends with Anna, but other teachers get in the way.

Margo, female, 29-32 (Episode 1 only). Anna’s co-worker and friend from the diner.
