Do you have a talent in any of the traditional hand arts that you would be willing to demonstrate at the 35th Annual Shelburne Farms Harvest Festival on Saturday, September 21st from 10 to 4? Join other artists showing everything from "Sheep to Shawl" - carding, spinning, knitting, weaving, etc. - to hand carving wood, fly tying, glass blowing, you name it. Do you tat, make lace, crochet, embroider, hook rugs, cane chairs, or practice other hand arts? Whatever your traditional skill may be, there are folks who would love to see what you do! The Harvest Festival is a Shelburne Farms tradition aimed at sharing its mission as a nonprofit education organization to cultivate a conservation ethic for a sustainable future. We are also looking for agricultural and environmental organizations who might be interested in participating! Anyone interested should please contact Judy by email.
