Anyone interested in purchasing an owner share [or has already purchased one!] in Granite City Grocery, the proposed community-owned grocery store for downtown Barre, is invited to come to this delicious local foods event! MENU: Forest Road Beef Hamburgers, Campo di Vino Italian sausages, VT Bean Crafter bean burgers, Cabot cheese, LePage Organic Farm roasted veggies and salad, Paquet Farm roasted corn, and Barre Tech Bakery desserts!

COST: $5 per person if you have already purchased an owner share (i.e. signed an owner agreement and made your first payment) OR $15 for family. $8 per person if you have not purchased an owner share yet or $20 per family. You can become an owner at this event - we will have owner agreements and will accept payments at the event - and you can get the owner pricing!

Although we are not selling tickets in advance (we're collecting cash or check at the door), reservations are required either online (http://www.granitecitygrocery.coop/upcoming_events) or by calling me at 802/279-7518 by September 11th. We are expecting 100 people and reservations are being filled now.
