Hi there, Neighbors! I'd like to encourage you to visit two of our amazing local vineyards this Valentine's Day weekend.
State-wide, Vermont vineyards are celebrating a Wine + Chocolate Weekend, each vineyard in its own way.
I encourage you to visit Lincoln Peak Vineyard (just north of Middlebury) and Huntington River Vineyard (in, well, Huntington). Different in scale and style, they're both amazing family-run affairs well worth the visit. Do something different this Valentine's Day Weekend. Go see one of these vineyards and meet the folks who make the wine (all while enjoying some delicious chocolate).

Lincoln Peak Vineyard, run by the talented Granstrom family, is located on 142 River Road, New Haven. They'll be open from 11am to 5pm on Saturday 2/14 and Sunday 2/15. They've worked hard to create pairings of locally made chocolate (from at least 3 different places in the immediate area, and including our truffles!) with their locally grown and produced wine. They make fabulous wine and it's a charming place to visit, so if you've never gone, or just haven't been in a while, this is the perfect opportunity! Then there's Huntington River Vineyard, run by the amazing Guilfoy Family, up in picturesque Huntington. Open from noon to 5pm on 2/14 and 2/14, the Guilfoys will be offering chocolate creations of their own making along with their own excellent wine.
