Are you sitting at home bored by the long winter? Looking for something different to do?

Check out Summit School’s exciting new adult evening music and dance classes, starting the week of Feb. 16 in downtown Montpelier.

You don’t have to be a musician to enjoy them! There’s something for everyone – even if you’ve never picked up an instrument before. The dazzling roster of classes includes:

- Fiddle, Banjo, Ukulele, and Bluegrass Guitar for new players.
- Singing classes – just bring your voice!
- Flatfooting – an easy and fun way to move to traditional tunes.

More experienced musicians will enjoy Pete Sutherland’s Old-Time fiddle class -or David Kaynor’s Scandinavian repertoire class - or tunes from West Virginia for guitar, banjo and fiddle – or a Celtic jam with Jeremiah McLane – or songwriting with Jon Gailmor.

Aspiring fiddlers in all styles can develop their bowing skills in Sarah Blair’s Bowing Bootcamp.

Come work with the area’s best performing musicians and teachers! Evening classes are reasonably priced.

Check out the complete listing of classes at: www.summit-school.org or call 802-917-1186.
