10:30am Family Sled Pull (one lap around the 3/4 mile loop)
A procession especially for young children in the name of love! Older siblings or parents tug and lug to their hearts' content. Sleds can be decorated for extra pizzazz.
11:15am XCountry Race (two laps)
For speed demons who want to strut their stuff. Racers aged 12 years and up will get a handmade heart lei necklace upon entering. Results based on multiple start times!
11:45am Free-Style Love Trek Sing-A-Long (one lap - or don't stop)
For loosey goosey winter nuts who are love-sick and can't keep quiet. Wear your Valentine on your sleeve with snow shoes, boots, skis or jetpack.
Valentine attire encouraged. Bring a Valentine to swap or trade or make one the day of. Shop for your Honey at our pop-up shop of local chocolatiers in the North Branch Nature Center Barn, including Liberty Chocolates and Nutty Steph's. Enjoy warm beverages and a breakfast treat, all for sale from local artisans and vendors. Space out and get gooey reading our love letter installation in the Barn or contemplating the collaborative Valentine's mural by Montpelier High School artists. APQProduction will provide an open air sound track of love songs! Pre-registration required, yet we welcome walk-ins the day of. Rate is $5.00 for individuals and $10.00 for families.
