How would you like to sing a song to your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day with guitar accompaniment from none other than the brother of country music legend Rad Lavender? Rad's romantically inclined lounge singer brother, Red Lavender, will appear for one night only at the Whammy Bar in Maple Corner, on Saturday, February 14th from 7:30-9:30pm.

Red is especially fond of jazz ballads, but he knows a lot of schmaltzy tunes from other genres, and if you give him a bit of notice he can learn your song. Please let me (Red’s manager) know if you have a song in mind. You can actually sing your song to anyone, even if you don’t have a sweetheart. You can sing to your ex-sweetheart or your hopefully future one. There might be group sing-alongs too, if you go in for that sort of thing. Or, if singing is just not for you, you can come to listen. Maybe someone will target you with a Valentine’s song!
