The Vermont Chapter of the Sierra Club Invites you to a public discussion by Mark Schapiro about his new book Carbon Shock on Feb 9.

WHEN: Monday, February 9th at 6:30 pm
What: Mark Schapiros latest book, CARBON SHOCK: A Tale of Risk and Calculus on the Front Lines of the Disrupted Global Economy, he explores the intersection of politics, the environment and economics.

CARBON SHOCK describes the rapid changes in our science-based understanding of climate disruption and the costs and consequences of climate change. The author offers his critical new perspective as federal and global leaders gear up for the next round of climate talks in 2015.

The Vermont Chapter of the Sierra Club is a member of the Energy Independent Vermont Campaign a coalition of environmental organizations, Vermont businesses and business associations, academic leaders, low-income advocates and Town Energy Committees all dedicated to a simple goal: address the problem of climate change by putting a price on pollution here in Vermont.
