The exceedingly fresh and new Bixby Library Computer Club in Vergennes will present “Exploring the Magic of Digital Radios” at its inaugural meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 4. We have invited UTC electrical engineer Scott Fusare to discuss wireless technology and how radios have powered it all. The presentation will be held in the library’s Community room from 3:30-5:30 p.m. A group hacking of Scott’s software-defined radio will follow the presentation.
Bixby Library’s Computer Club is a group that will meet regularly at the library to explore fun topics related to technology and computers. The club will be led by myself (Jon Sullivan) and Randy Page, two software engineers. Adults and children 10 and above are invited to join the club. Any level of experience is welcome.
