Sue Morse Talk on Animals and Climate Change 2/3 6:30 8:00 at Richmond Free Library
Tuesday night February 3, the Richmond Conservation Commission, Richmond Climate Action Committee, Bolton Conservation Commission, and Alison's Aquatics are co-sponsoring a slideshow at the Richmond library you won't to miss.
Acclaimed naturalist and photographer Sue Morse will be discussing "Animals of the North: What Will Global Change Mean to Them?" She'll illustrate her talk with outstanding photographs she's taken during explorations into the arctic and sub-arctic. No nature show can match being in the same room with someone who has tracked, studied and photographed everything from caribou and wolves to Canada lynx and arctic foxes. There'll be plenty of time for questions, too.
Last month Sue captivated a huge audience at the library with her show about the cougar's return to the east. Tomorrow night will be the encore. Please come and hear this very gifted speaker and her thoughts not only on the growing plight of northern wildlife but what we can still do to help ensure their long-term survival.
The talk will run from 6:30 to 8 at the Richmond Free Library, and there is no charge for admission.
See you there!
