Vermont Movie Film Series
Please join us at the Mount Tabor/Danby Historical Society on Monday, February 9th at 7PM for Part 5 of Freedom and Unity: the Vermont Movie to hear the ideas on conservation from Vermonter George Perkins Marsh, one of America's first environmentalists, and listen to the views of 21st century Vermont farmers. Can Vermont be a model for small, local, and self sufficient farming given the disappearance of so many dairy farms?
Nora Jacobson, Executive Director of the film, will be the facilitator for the discussion after the film. Refreshments will be served. This free event is open to the public and accessible to people with disabilities. A Vermont Humanities program hosted by the Mount Tabor-Danby Historical Society at 74 South Main Street, Danby.
