The Chittenden County Opera Lovers group had a large group for the Merry Widow Met HD encore dinner last Wednesday. It was great to see some new faces at the dinner. We had a fascinating discussion from Erik Nielsen about his composition, the opera “A Fleeting Animal” which will be performed in several places this fall.
Next on the Met HD schedule is Offenbach’s Contes d”Hoffman. As usual, the Chittenden County Opera Lovers will meet at Zen Gardens at 5PM, Feb. 4 prior to the encore showing at Palace 9. Hope to see you then.
