Volunteer Tree Planting at Refuge!

Past event
Apr 18, 2015, 9 AM to 12 PM

Join other volunteers and the refuge staff as we work to reforest an eroding bank along the Missisquoi River. Planting trees will eventually stabilize the soil preventing soil loss and downstream sedimentation while making an investment for the future of a forested corridor along the Missisquoi River.

Meet at the Black Creek/Maquam Creek parking lot on Route 78 at 9:00 am Saturday, April 18. We will boat across the river and plant approximately 250 trees. This is a rain or shine event so please dress appropriately!
