Field Naturalist Walk in Sabin's Pasture and Hubbard Park

Past event
Mar 13, 2015

I'm inviting fellow students from the Field Naturalist and Ecological Planning graduate program at UVM to join me in a "Friday Field Walk" I'm calling "A Tale of Two Parks". We'll spend the afternoon of Friday, March 13 checking out natural treasures in Sabin's Pasture and Hubbard Park while also comparing some of the formal and informal management strategies of these two publicly accessible areas in our town. If you have any expertise that you would like to contribute, either before the date or during the field walk itself, please let me know -- I'm hoping to provide a top-notch field experience!

Correction: Field Naturalist Walk in Hubbard Park Only
A few visiting graduate students from the Field Naturalist and Ecological Planning program at UVM will explore Hubbard Park only when they come for a field walk on Friday, March 13. Thanks to those who have already offered to share some historical information or natural science expertise. If you have any favorite or rare tales of the park you'd like to pass on, I'd welcome your information.
