@ 6:30 Pm at City Hall
I hope that this post finds you well (and warm) and that 2015 is off to a great start! We have our Community Services Commission Meeting coming up this Wednesday at 6:30 PM at City Hall, and it will be an important one, as there is some funding for us to determine how to spend, and the Commission needs your input. The agenda is as follows:

- Public Comment

- Approval of Minutes from 12/17

- Department Update
(LWCF Grant, MLK Day Event, Dog Park Project, Budget Process)

- Discussion: Department Goal/Objective Review and Progress Report (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Aw9_VmgV9yLTkJeqSQYKGhFJE677ACxPE-PypjDnp1c/edit?usp=sharing)

- Discussion/Approval: Prioritization of Community Services Capital Budget Items
(Feel free to review these, think about how you'd like to see them prioritized, and come with additional ideas. Rule of thumb for "capital" items is $3,000 or more in value and three years or more of useful life: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1k7DvN2cBnvtwabhsSfLR6BHPXRvmGVFUmd14CmklHnI/edit?usp=sharing)

- Discussion: Prioritization of Parks Access/Safety Improvement projects
(The Commission has $5,000 to spend on safety or accessibility improvements for parks/trails (through a Vermont Department of Health grant). We need to begin discussing project ideas so we can finalize decisions at our February meeting. HOMEWORK: Please come with ideas! Examples include: Improve access trail from Gilbrook Road to Gilbrook Natural Area; Handicapped parking spaces for parks that don't have them?)

Hope to see you Wednesday!
