The Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center is please to present the Vermont folk trio, Woods Tea Co. on Saturday, February 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Stowe.

The Woods Tea Co. has been entertaining audiences throughout the US since 1981 with a blend of traditional and vintage musical styles. The group performs fiery Celtic tunes, bluegrass, sea shanties, and American folk songs, tied together with stories, humor, and good cheer! The trio includes vocalists/multi-instrumentalists Howard Wooden and Patti Casey, with Vermont’s greatest living folk musician Pete Sutherland recently joining the group.

The group has earned a loyal following throughout New England and performed nationwide, including the stages of New York's Lincoln Center, the Chautauqua Institute, and appearances on PBS and National Public Radio. Over the years the Woods Tea Co. have had numerous musicians and the music has evolved, but the spirit of fun and audience participation in which the group was founded many years ago remain bright and alive as ever.
