Bixby Library will host the Bixby Library will host the Hardy Plant Club's presentation of "The Buzz on Designing Pollinator-Friendly Landscapes" on Saturday, January 24th, 2015 at 10:30am. Annie White, a PhD student at UVM finishing her degree in ecological landscape design will explore with the audience the fascinating ways in which plants and pollinators interact in Vermont landscapes, including in home gardens. She will address how to enhance pollinator habitat through landscape design that attracts and support bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
