Lamoille Home Health & Hospice is pleased to welcome Nashville songwriter Joe Doyle with his special guests The Mann Sisters and Kris Gruen to Spruce Peak Performing Arts, Saturday, June 6th at 8:00 p.m. This special concert features the writer of songs recorded by: Jason Aldean, Reba McIntyre, Kenny Rogers, Luke Bryan and many, many more! The Mann Sisters are new on the Nashville music scene and deemed "ones to watch" by Music Row critic, Robert Oermann. With influences ranging from the great Everly Brothers to Simon and Garfunkle and Fleetwood Mac - Lauren and Alexandra Mann, pride themselves as up-and-coming artists, songwriters, and musicians. The Mann Sisters deliver their audiences well-crafted, life-inspired original music, with tight musical performances, keeping folks captivated and coming back for more. Kris Gruen, who now makes his home here in Vermont is a seasoned performer with a storied upbringing (Father is famed rock photographer Bob Gruen). Kris Gruen writes songs about grown up life infused with a mystic wonder, softening the world’s sharp edges like a glass of exceptionally fine bourbon. Kris grew up steeped in classic records. His Americana influenced new folk is grounded in the tradition of great narrative songwriters like Cat Stevens and Paul Simon and yet Kris’s voice is strikingly current. Kris effortlessly blends sagacious wit and emotional depth. Americana UK writes "There is the sense of theatre that artists such as Sufjan Stevens achieve, and Gruen's music certainly stands alongside such artists comfortably…truly a thing of beauty.” While often garnering comparisons to contemporaries like The Avett Brothers, Ryan Adams, and Andrew Bird, Exclaim! Canada’s Music Authority aptly notes, “Kris Gruen is no mere imitator. He possesses a sound all his own.”

In addition to the concert there will be a songwriter's workshop with Joe Doyle, a reception, meet & greet and a silent auction.
