Want to Know Where to Snowshoe?

Snowshoeing expert Ray DiPaola will be signing copies of his book, 42 PLACES IN SOUTHERN VERMONT - A Snowshoer's Guide, from 1pm - 3pm on Sunday February 15 at The Book Nook.

DiPaola maintains a home and has been skiing, snowshoeing and hiking (including the entire Long Trail) in the Green Mountains of Vermont for 40 years. He also has extensive winter hiking experience in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

He describes his book as "Containing mostly simpler trips, this guide points the way to some great outdoor adventures for anyone who is looking for a place to try out their new snowshoes, desires to get off the beaten path or simply needs a day away from it all, from in-town parks to large flood control dam projects."
