Eleven men attended the Montpelier Senior Activity Center's first Men's Group meeting on 1/7. They proposed three pages of class, van trip and other ideas to interest more men in playing an active role in the center's activities. Center staff's reactions to suggestions like an excursion to a Boston Red Socks game and ballroom dancing will be reported during the next meeting, Wed, 1/21, 10 AM at 58 Barre Street, 2nd floor Activity Room. Additional ideas are encouraged. Chef Justin Turcotte will contribute to the light breakfast served by slicing and preparing from scratch demonstration quality bacon. Men 50 and over: don't miss it.
