An Unlikely Vineyard is the story a farming journey through cold winters, wet summers, overgrown fields and one couple’s goal to capture their eight acre Vermont hillside landscape in a bottle, through the creation of a vineyard.

It’s also a book full of information on how to think about almost every aspect of gardening, including beekeeping, raising livestock and the farm to table philosophy.

If you love food, farms and living well…you’ll love this FREE talk!

Deirdre Heekin and her husband Caleb Barber are the proprietors of Osteria Pane e Salute, an acclaimed restaurant and wine bar in Woodstock, Vermont. Heekin and Barber, are the authors of “In Late Winter We Ate Pears” as well as “Libation: A Bitter Alchemy”
