The Waterbury Historical Meeting will hold it's winter meeting Sunday, January 18th at 2pm in the downstairs of White Meeting House (Congregation Church) 8 No. Main St The program will be a review of "A Walk Through Waterbury" - Small Town, Big History,, a book that was created by students at Thatcher Book school.
The .students chronicled the town's history with the help of Waterbury Historical members and a grant from the Susan Sebastian Foundation.
The presentation will include stories and photo's of historical buildings in Waterbury Village, and several students will speak about their work.
We will have a Dessert Pot Luck, if you wish, bring your favorite dessert to share. WHS will provide the beverage.
Books will be on sale and all proceeds benefiting the Historical Society We encourage all to attend for this free event.
