The Neel Murgai Ensemble performs "raga chamber-jazz" on sitar, tabla, cello, and violin. I've known Neel for years and he and I have performed together a number of times. He's a truly innovative musician, a Goddard alumn, and an all-around great guy. If you like the sounds of North Indian classical music, or are perhaps a fan of the band 35th Parallel, you should definitely attend this show.
